We printed and installed a grass-and-sunlight mural in an assessment room within Manning Base Hospital’s birthing suite. The image runs across the wall and two windows, with a boxed column between them, so the layout needed to work around several breaks in the surface.
We used solid high-tack vinyl on the walls and windows, finished with a matte laminate. High-tack is a material we regularly use for internal wall graphics because ordinary sign vinyl can struggle to grip modern wall paints. Here, the production layout was just as important as the material choice.
We divided the wall into six print sections and prepared separate top, middle and bottom pieces for each window. The layout included extra print allowance for trimming, helping us fit the sections around the room’s existing features while keeping the grass image connected across the wall and glazing.
