The deep blue and bright yellow of this Rivvia Projects display make an impression after dark. Getting that colour right starts with how the printed skin is produced.
We digitally print these illuminated skins onto banner material suited to backlighting. The print uses a double strike, laying down extra ink so the colours stay rich when light shines through from behind. The material and ink coverage need to work together to give the finished display its strong colour at night.
The skins are also replaceable. As a campaign changes or the message dates, we can print and fit a new graphic into the existing display. We regularly change these prints over, keeping the presentation current without replacing the whole sign.
It is a practical approach for retail graphics that need to look good illuminated and be refreshed as new artwork comes through.
