Working with Total Fit Outs, Big Colour created the illuminated sign for Simon's Fish & Chips at Westfield Kotara. The project included logo design as well as the fabrication and installation of the finished sign.
The fish motif and lettering were made in aluminium, with the faces and returns painted in two blues. LED lighting sits behind the sign, with clear acrylic backs and blue translucent film helping the illuminated colour sit alongside the painted finish.
Mounted to the face of the extractor box, the dimensional lettering and fish logo stand out against the black background. The backlighting adds a blue glow around the shapes and gives the shop name a clear presence above the counter.
It is a compact sign that brings the name, logo and lighting together in one recognisable feature.
