Halo-lit lettering and an illuminated crest at the school entrance

The entrance at St Kevin’s Cardiff combines halo-lit blue lettering with an illuminated school crest. The 600 mm-high letters were specified with aluminium faces and sides, opal acrylic backs and internal LEDs, creating a glow behind each letter. The crest uses an illuminated acrylic face with printed graphics. Together, the two treatments carry the school’s blue and yellow identity across the bulkhead above the entrance.
